The Art of Fairfield

The Art of Fairfield exhibition displays works that were formerly hung throughout the Fairfield Halls. Some of the works by local artist Norman Partridge depict theatres in Croydon that no longer exist, including the Davis Theatre and the Grand Theatre that were pulled down in 1959.

The Fairfield Collection exhibition

From its opening in November 1962, Fairfield Halls played a significant part in the cultural life of Croydon and beyond. ‘The Fairfield Collection’ exhibition showcases objects, archive material and people’s memories from the Fairfield Halls. Many of the items on display were removed from the venue prior its closure for refurbishment in July 2016.
